I’ve found the topic of exotic animal ownership fascinating since the Zanesville Zoo incident, probably because Zanesville is about 35 minutes from where I live. It’s unbelievable to me how cheap some of these animals can be had.

Via Masters in IT, the 50 Greatest Geek Movies of All Time. I actually think there’s an argument to be made that Primer is the greatest geek movie of all time. Esoteric and muddled enough that it can foster endless debate.

I used to love Google, and I don’t hate it now … but it’s pretty clearly changing and becoming more of a typical publicly traded company, with their “Do No Evil” slogan becoming a little more hollow. Part of my problem is that I still primarily want Google to be a search company, and the search results are lacking lately, full of spam and Google’s own products. I still hope Google can return to it’s greatness, and they still do plenty of cool things, as the above graphic illustrates pretty well, but right now it’s not the same as it used to be. I’ve even been trying a different search engine lately, and I haven’t missed Google nearly as much as I thought I would.
